I am a visual artist, writer and textile artist. Themes in my work include, the body, landscape, nature, still-life, portrait, family, the Divine Feminine, loss and longing. I work in a wide variety of media; oils, acrylics, watercolour, pencil, chalk and charcoal. I also crochet, felt, paint on silk, quilt and embroider. Colour, light, the season and my mood all influence my choice of medium.

Celtic spirituality, Greek mythology, shamanism, Taoism, are some of the wider influences on my work. I have a need to be physically grounded in the process of art making. My work is often auto-biographical, seeking self-compassion and healing.
